Interviewing Do's and Dont's
DO
- Arrive a little early
- Maintain good eye contact
- Answer questions with sentences, not Yes, No, Okay
- Think about your answers
- Be friendly and polite
- Dress neatly and properly for the job
- Turn off cell phones and pagers
DON'T
- Smoke or chew anything, even if invited to do so
- Ask about days off
- Talk badly about a former employer or teacher
- Fidget or play with things on the interviewer s desk
- Discuss other jobs you are applying for or did not get
- Wear perfume or cologne
